Permutations

Permutations is a demonstration project expressing the potential for design to embrace material-conscious approaches at the scale of batch production. Each lighting object is comprised of three interchangeable parts that combine to generate a variety of lamp forms and lighting effects. The investigation into mass-produced unique and aestheticization of technology (addressing CFL bulbs) was supported by Evonik Industries and Ikea.
