This ongoing project aims to question notions of tradition through juxtaposition, disjunction, and decontextualized symbolic representation as afforded by technology. The central pattern in the series co-opts the traditional bucolic toile to cast doubt on a biased and non-inclusive depiction of mid-century American ideals (whiteness, entertainment escapism, war technology, and the like).
