SEAt

SEAt is a seating object comprised of three ceramic reproductions of a portion of a digitally-scanned tree located at the SEA Foundation in Tilburg, Netherlands. Through scanning, casting, and glazing techniques the three trunk stool blurs reality and artifice.

 
  • Scanned, milled, and fossilized in clay at the European Ceramic Work Center. Glazed stoneware. (Scanned at the grounds of the SEA Foundation Tilburg.)
