Working between craft traditions and emerging fabrication technologies, Brian Anderson examines localized modes of production as alternatives to conventional industrial models. Studio Brian Anderson は、現代の生産を形作る物質的・文化的・生態的条件を探究する、リサーチ主導のデザイン実践です。同スタジオは、デザインを、資源・プロセス・そしてモノが循環する環境との関係性を考察するための方法として捉えています。ファブリケーションを探究の手段として重視し、素材が歴史的・環境的・社会的な物語をどのように帯びているのか、そしてその知識がより責任ある「つくる」あり方をどのように導きうるかに焦点を当てています。
