SEAt Sculptural Furniture

SEAt is a seating object comprised of three ceramic reproductions of a portion of a digitally-scanned tree located at the SEA Foundation in Tilburg, Netherlands. Through scanning, casting, and glazing techniques the three trunk stool blurs reality and artifice.

Scanned, milled, and fossilized in clay at the European Ceramic Work Center. Glazed stoneware. (Scanned at the grounds of the SEA Foundation Tilburg.)
