The Fox

A study in circular thinking, designed for distributed fabrication and disassembly. The high stool is 3D printed with bio-composite material and presents the perch as a form ideally suited for additive manufacturing. 

The Fox imagines a future in which domestic furnishings are fabricated and recycled in a local ecosystem situated in the home or community. Common answers to advancing ecological concerns include producing longer-lasting products, affording more meaningful attachment, and multiplying and extending the lives of materials and products, all while working toward the ideal of true recyclability.
